ok so she’s all unpacked I’ve clicked through the instructions but like I thought they are in German 😦 looks like my English instructions will come in handy!
so of course now it’s unpacked I can’t not start building so I started with the stand, boring I know but necessary! the stand is very simple with no glueing required so it was a quick and easy build. I did have to sand some of the slots to make the tabs but that wasn’t too bad

next I need to cut holes in the top deck, one for the crane, one for the stern hatch and one for the main hatch, I had a lot of problems with the stern one as the cover had to be flush with the deck, lots of cutting later and it’s done! the main hatch wasn’t nearly as bad!

I also decided to make the electronics tray and the servo mount, I made a bit of a mistake with the electronics tray and had to turn one peice around 😦 I can say that poundland superglue is very strong!!

I also decided to fit the stern tube and the motor, I wasn’t looking forward to this bit so I thought I’d get it over and done with, turned out to have nothing to worry about! with the motor all lined up a dab of glue to tack it down then some heavy duty glue to seal it all up! hopefully the join between the stern pipe and the hull is waterproof although that is yet to be proven!
